On the main floor you will find over 2,200 slot machines, plus more than 60 table games offering blackjack, roulette and other familiar Ontario formats. Third-party sources place the gaming area at roughly 192,000 square metres. Slot machines cover different denominations, so casual players and higher-stakes guests both find a level that feels comfortable. Entry to the gaming floor is limited to guests 19 or older, in line with Ontario law. You need government-issued photo ID on arrival. Guests who are 21 or younger must also show a second piece of ID, such as a debit card, credit card, or provincial health card.

Restaurants on the gaming floor - The Willow, Couchiching Court Buffet, Simcoe Yard House, and Noodle Bar - follow exactly the same 19-plus rule. Guests under 19 are not permitted in those areas, even if they are with an adult.
Planning a Visit
Casino Rama Resort is located at 5899 Rama Road, Rama, Ontario. From Toronto, the drive runs a bit over an hour north along Highway 400, then you follow the signs toward Orillia. The resort itself stands on the reserve lands of the Chippewas of Rama First Nation, which continues to influence its history, ownership and operations.
For a visit centered mainly on gaming, a typical day at the property might look like this:
- Drive north on Highway 400 from Toronto and follow the highway signage for Casino Rama Resort near Orillia.
- Arrive at the main entrance with your government-issued photo identification ready to present.
- If you are 21 or under, have a secondary piece of ID with you as well.
- Walk onto the main gaming floor and choose between the slots area and the table games pit.
- Before you sit at a table game, stop by the cashier cage to exchange cash for chips.
- Take advantage of on-floor dining if you want a meal or quick break without leaving the casino area.
- Visit the Box Office in the Rotunda, between the hotel and gaming floor, to pick up or purchase entertainment tickets.
- On your way out, cash out any remaining slot tickets at a redemption machine or at the cashier window.
If you expect to stay at the tables or slots for a long stretch, it helps to eat in advance or schedule a proper meal break. Time tends to slip past on a busy gaming floor, and it can catch guests off guard.

Once you arrive, check in at the hotel front desk and confirm your access to the spa and fitness centre. The fitness centre is on the third floor and generally runs daily from 7 AM to 10 PM. Spa hours usually run from 10 AM to 7 PM, seven days a week.

Hotel and Resort Amenities
The hotel operates as an all-suite property, with roughly 292 to 300 suites depending on how the inventory is configured. Suites connect internally to both the gaming floor and the Entertainment Centre, so guests can move through the main areas of the resort without stepping outside. That layout makes multi-night or winter stays feel quite contained.
There are eight restaurants on the property. Hotel-side venues - The Weirs, Firestarter Lounge, St. Germain’s, and Cedar - welcome guests of all ages. For families, that separation is important, since it allows everyone to eat comfortably without entering age-restricted zones. Restaurants located directly on the gaming floor remain 19-plus only.
The Balance in Life Spa manages wellness services for both hotel guests and day visitors. Use of the indoor pool and the fitness centre is included with a hotel stay. Together, these amenities mean Casino Rama Resort also works as a short-break destination for guests who are less focused on casino play.

The Silvernightingale Ballroom, with seating for around 800 people, is used for meetings, banquets, and private events. Corporate groups book it frequently. It functions as a practical event space rather than a showpiece hall.
